Tracking down villagers in Stardew Valley can be tricky if you do not know their weekly routines. Sam is an energetic musician and eligible bachelor who spends his days skateboarding, practicing guitar, and hanging out with friends. Knowing his primary hangouts makes it much easier to deliver gifts and build friendship.
Morning Locations and Home Life
Sam lives with his family at 1 Willow Lane in the southern part of Pelican Town. On most regular mornings, he stays inside his bedroom playing guitar or relaxing until around 11:00 AM. On rainy days, he tends to stay indoors for much longer periods or heads out briefly to the local saloon.
Workplace and Afternoon Schedules
During the week, Sam works part-time shifts at JojaMart. If players complete the Community Center and force JojaMart out of town, he shifts to working at the Pelican Town Museum instead. After his work shifts finish, he usually spends time skateboarding outside his house or visiting the river in town.
Friday Evenings and Weekend Hangouts
Fridays are one of the easiest days to meet up with Sam in Pelican Town. Every Friday at 4:00 PM, he goes to the Stardrop Saloon to play pool with his best friend Sebastian. Saturdays are reserved for band practice, where the duo rehearses music inside Sam's room before hanging out outside near the river.
Seasonal Changes and Special Events
Sam's routine shifts depending on the current season in Pelican Town. In the summer, he frequently visits the beach with his younger brother Vincent. During the fall season, he can often be found exploring the forest area west of Cindersap Forest.
